where is this is from? india. today we are sharing an form. we are members of the dance company based here in san francisco and we are taught by somebody who has been doing this art form for over 50 years much the ladies including myself we have been studying with him for a long time. you will see different things. lots of sounds with our feet. a little bit of story telling through mime and expression and you will learn about math in dance. who would have thought. today we will start, our next piece means the coloring of the stage. dancers show the hindu aspect of the dance by using the positions of our hands we will show you we are decorating the stage and make a water picture and cleaning the stage with the water. plucking flowers and decorating the stage with the petals of the flowers. we will awaken the 5 senses through the blowing of a conch shell. we will demonstrate the 3 duty, creator, producer and the destroyer in order to make way for new creation. minister of india has expressed his deep condolences and has announced this to the victims' families. the minister is going to investigate why this happened. apparently, what happened, told by officers, the bus with 100 passengers from a wedding party were returning, full of joy, dreams, and when they were trying to cross the railway line, the driver perhaps could not see the train was coming and the bus was hit by the train engine. it was dragged up to 500 meters. many people were on the roof of the bus. they were thrown a great distance. those inside of the bus were trapped. because it was in the night time, and it was dark and it was a wedding party, they tried to clear the dead bodies. the track has been cleared, the train has been moved on, and the dead bodies have been taken to a local district hospital because of the post mortem. about 40 people were admitted to three hospitals and officials are trying to track down how many dead at and injured and trying to organize relief. >> ok, thank you for the latest on that tragic accident. >>> millions of people in east afric

india. at least 67 people died and more than 100 were injured when an express train left the tracks. the conductor reportedly slammed on the emergency brakes to avoid hitting cattle that had wandered onto the tracks. the train was doing 60 miles per hour when it derailed. india's rail system is one of the largest in the world, carrying some 14 million passengers a year. >>> dozens of children are among the nearly 100 who are missing after an overloaded cruise boat sank on the volga river in russia. so far nine are confirmed dead. 80 have been pulled out of the water. the cruise boat was carrying 185 people for a scenic trip on the volga when the boat went down sunday. that boat was only certified to carry 120 people. the water is 65 feet deep in the area where the boat sank. the cause is still under investigation. >>> funeral services for former first lady betty ford will begin tomorrow in california and will end with her burial in michigan on thursday. the wife of former president gerald r. ford died friday at the age of 93. there will be a funeral service tomorrow morning. former
